Award Details

Award Criteria: Candidates for this award must meet one or more of the following criteria:

Overcoming Adversity: Candidates must have faced and overcome a significant challenge.
Demonstration of Courage: Notable acts of bravery, such as overcoming major setbacks or advocating for significant community issues.
Impact on Others: Nominees should have a documented influence on enhancing others’ experiences.
Leadership and Integrity: Recognized leadership and ethical conduct that promotes fairness and sportsmanship.
Community Engagement: Active participation in initiatives that improve the volleyball community.
Nomination and References: Open to nominations by peers or self, supported by references attesting to the nominee’s character and contributions.

Submission Process: Submissions will be accepted through the web form below. Nominators must provide the following:

A detailed overview, with a limit of 300 words, articulating why the nominee has earned this honor.
Nominators must include their contact information to facilitate communication and verification.
Nominators must include nominee’s contact information including their social media handles to facilitate communication and verification.

Important Dates: Nominations are accepted from October 28-November 25. Then, submissions will be reviewed, and the winner will be notified on December 2nd.

2025 applications will open again next October!
